THE LONE STAR CROSS COUNTRY EXPEDITION (LSXC) 2004
Austin Air Sports (AAS) will be sponsoring the 3rd annual LSXC again in Edinburg, TX. Edinburg is just north of McAllen and west of South Padre Island. All the necessary forms will be available for any distance records that are declared. We encourage anyone wanting to declare a world record to review the necessary requirements at http://www.fai.org/hang_gliding/documents/sc7.asp. Any participating pilot must be an USHGA member. Temporary membership forms for international pilots will be available and will be effective upon signing for 90 days (a $30 fee for this temporary membership must be paid with registration). We will have a limited number of drivers available, so we want to encourage pilots to bring their own driver if possible. The registration form is below. It is very important for us to know your date of arrival and your estimated time of stay. For any questions please use the "Comments " box. Spaces are limited and your entry fee and a package of 10 winch tows must be paid in advance in order to confirm your registration. Any unused tows will be refunded. Credit card information should be phoned in or sent in a separate email to sburns@austinairsports.com. Mail check or money order (made payable to Austin Air Sports) to 1712 Waterston Ave., Austin, TX 78703.We are looking forward to another fun time down south!

The Echo Hotel is located at 1903 S. Closner in Edinburg, Texas. Weekly and monthly rates are available and must be paid in full up front. The discounts apply for any stay longer than 7 (weekly) or 30 (monthly) days. These rates do not include the free breakfast buffet or the complimentary drinks. However you can purchase a breakfast buffet package (prices listed below).
